more investments and reforms is needed in education not necessarily just building universities. work on making the ones on ground very good before commencing with new ones. what's the guarantee that the new ones wont turn out like the old ones on ground?

And i agree with ekt_bear where he mentions that technical education should be encouraged. maybe when they start making it appealing no one will discriminate against university education. most people abroad do one or two year diplomas and even take certificate courses and they get to work good jobs. Most of them make up their mind to go to the university when they're already in their late twenties or thirties. Access to university education is goo but like ekt, i agree should be with merit. Put technical institutions/colleges on a high pedestal too. Afterall, education is education no matter whether its university or not

It looks naive to suggest we shd not not expand our education system because most of our educated folks aren't employed

I expect people to be more proactive & suggest ways out the log jam

We can try functional education

Our people are more interested in acquiring certificates, we dont care about making sure such education uplifts us

The Japanese,4 example, train their people to be self reliant, & they are empowered to remain so

I dont believe lack of money is our problem

Lack of will to use the available money wisely is our problem, We v often hear of unspent money being returned @ end of fiscal years.
