The diasporal funding for Obi/Datti will be huge. Again, a lot of Nigerians in the diaspora will look towards home with the Obi/Datti presidency in office. This is the change we can TRUST!

Many have argued what economic & political philosophy describes Peter Obi. Is he a socialist, communist or capitalist? To star with, BAT is neither a socialist nor a capitalist. I know many BATified ignorantly confuse socialism with welfarism. And since BAT is the only man with "Wealth with no Enterprise", we can't call him a capitalist too. He is just simply a GODFATHER! So how about PO? PO is a conscious capitalist. Conscious capitalism refers to a socially responsible economic and political philosophy. In other words, it builds on the foundations of capitalism of building values however those values are for the gains of the PEOPLE & the Environment. There are 4 traits of a conscious capitalist: Higher Purpose, Stakeholder Orientation, Conscious Leadership & Conscious Culture. From not collecting pension after office, to not accepting land offered to him as governor, to cutting cost of governance, to giving senior citizens allowance, to diverting security votes to education & healthcare, to investing in education & health facilities in different zones of the country from his PERSONAL POCKETS, Peter Obi is surely a conscious capitalist and this is what LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE is about. Nigeria needs such person with empathy, conscience & love for others. To everyone with a good conscience, may i remind u of the words of Louis-Ferdinand..."I have never voted in my life, I have always known & understood that the idiots are in a majority so it's certain they will win" The battle for 2023 is to negate this assertion. Nigeria is blessed with many sound minds in the majority. Let us join hands to vote an educated man. Let us join hands to vote for human capital developer. Let’s us join hands to vote for a man with a conscience. Say with me...I am smart, I have my PVC & I'm voting for Peter Obi.

All this international hype doesn't win elections. Elections are held in Nigerian villages, not in New York City. Labour Party should sit their buttocks down and start campaigning in the grassroots.

The role of the diaspora community is to financial support politicians they want to see win the presidential election. I don't remember Joe Biden coming to Nigeria to campaign during their campaigns. Nobody should cry foul if their candidate didn't win this election.

you so much lack knowledge of how bandwagon effect works.

To beat APC and PDP, you need the bandwagon to favour you and so far, Peter obi is taking maximum advantage of it.

Obi needs to be constantly in the news, Even if he says nothing. The fact that APC and PDP is criticizing him is also a plus for him because he has the momentum already. When campaign starts officially then you can start going round when you have so made the news so much that everyone is expecting you.

You are sounding like this election will hold in 1960

Showmanship and salesmanship. We investigated and found Ibos in diaspora are booking Obi for public engagements.

It is not a foreign endorsement.

Foreign endorsement is what happens in Bourdillon when foreign diplomats knock on Tinubu door to chat.

Those events are scheduled to hold in September when campaigns would have started in earnest.

Peter Obi should focus on enlightening rural communities where people accept garri and cups of rice to vote because they are the real voters, not some people living in the US.

Finally, all I ask is that nobody should cry of rigging if their candidate doesn't win this election. Atiku Abubukar lost both primary and presidential elections and moved on like a gentleman.

Hold it there a minute!

American Presidential candidates generally take a tour of England, Israel and possibly France before the commencement of full campaigns to burnish their credentials and win some undecided voters with roots from these countries.

Additionally, it helps them get many affiliated PAC committees to support their candidacy. For example, AIPAC which means American Israeli Political Action Committee made up of influential Jewish Americans would always look forward to candidates that support Israel; the only way to show this is to visit Isreal and chat with Israeli government and Knesset members as well as visit the wailing wall in Jerusalem.

Visiting England and France also helps to burnish your foreign and defence experience credentials.

So, Peter Obi is completely on the right Trajectory. Speaking in all these forums as well as connecting with Nigeria diaspora community will help him raised the needed campaign funding as well as win over many rural voters that can be influence by their relations and benefactors abroad.

The ongoing brain drain and economic hardship foisted on our Country due mainly to APC policies have given the diaspora community an oversized influence on relations at home. it is very hard not to see any extended family especially in southern and Middle Belt Nigeria that do not have relations abroad.

These Diaspora communities generally do send money home running in billions to help families at home. It would be very hard for families not to vote on the candidates canvassed by their relations abroad even if when bribed by our politicians on election day.

Just like his US counterparts, it would also help Obi burnish his foreign relations credentials among voters.

If i recollect very well, Buhari visited the UK something before the 2015 elections.
