Turkish businessmen are urged not to be afraid of US sanctions for cooperation with Russia.

The head of the Turkish Ministry of Finance, Nureddin Nebati, appealed to the country's business circles with a request to ignore the threats coming from the US Treasury regarding possible sanctions due to cooperation with Russian business. He wrote about it on his Twitter page.

Nebati's speech was in response to US Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo's claim that the US could respond with sanctions to the cooperation of Turkish companies with Russian defendants in the current sanctions. Nebati said that Turkey is one of the most important political and economic centers of the world.
