Yea. Just like having agberos in every junction collecting dues is constitutional.
But it's called overtaxing.

Is this what you guys want to replicate on the federal level? Then Nigeria is in trouble.

What has Lagos state government done to help businesses and residents to warrant this high level of taxation?

Even the issue of traffic, you've not been able to solve for years, instead you toll the hell out of everything.

Just like we warned you guys with Buhari, we are also warning you about Tinubu. Vote wisely.

Any levy can be made constitutional once backed by law. I only fear that Nigerians may be levied for the air they breathe at the rate things are moving.

After stealing all revenues from our natural resources over the years, and allocating jumbo allowances to thenselves upon leaving offices. Now that the economy is crumbling, the next target could be to tax every human and animal heavily to sustain the extravagant lifestyles of the few politicians that made the earlier mess.

Lagos state claims to generate N44.5B monthly and my question still remains, does it reflect on infrastructural development or does it impact on the lives of Lagosians?

Then the issue of taxation on car parking is illegal and unconstitutional.

Nigeria is still a developing nation and yet to find her feet, but the same government still wants to tax the poor masses.

Nigeria copying the right things but not delivering their part.

Whenever I drive into any parking in major cities in America, I’ll pay a parking ticket. You can also find places without a fee which will likely be a stonethrow from where a ticket is requested but we pay anyway because those fees are highly administrative and channel into development and other services which will eventually return to the masses.
Lagos will copy the same approach, can increase the money anytime they want, then forcefully collect it and siphon it. Even when it’s obvious that the money keeps getting stolen of part of it is going into a personal purse, no one goes to jail, everyone just moves on…

Until corruption is limited, people will continue to pay for services, will never enjoy them and will continuously question why they have to do so and they have that right.
There are no regulations in Lagos, they can just wake up one day and place a certain bill on the masses and then loot after collection. It’s crazyyyyyy

That's their way. They will criticize government on media, go behind and defend them in court in order to collect money. The senseless criticism is just a form of advertisement.

Funny thing is some of us who voted for Buhari in 2015 are living in regrets because we're all suffering from his bad government.

Never again should we make that costly mistake.

If Nigerians miss voting for the right Leader this time, then, we may never get it right again.

Vote Wisely
Vote for Competence

Please go and sit down!
How do you tax a people for parking on a road you refuse to fix or install lights?
Countries that levy this type of taxes already sacrificed for their citizens by providing visible and long lasting infrastructure!

What do they know about the Constitution and Rule of Law

A High Court in May banned the illegal collection of levies by agberos in Lagos State, but LASG has unashamedly continued with this reckless show of impunity without a care in the world.

Lawless rogues!
