The Federal Government has proposed borrowing N11.3 trillion to fund the proposed N19.76 trillion budget for 2023. Dr Zainab Ahmed, Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, revealed this when presenting the 2023-2025 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Policy Paper (FSP) to the House of Representatives’ Finance Committee, chaired by Honourable Abiodun Faleke.
