Flutterwave is one of Nigeria's laudable FINTECH companies that gave most small businesses an alternative to our formal banking sector.

They have been so good that they expanded their frontier to countries like Kenya albeit where there stew now burns with no help from either the CBN or our home country Nigeria.

I don't want to dwell on rightness or otherwise but rather highlight the trend were foreign governments take advantage of Nigerians and their businesses because NIGERIA will do nothing.

At a time when we need so much forex to be repatriated back to Nigeria, the Kenyan government can thrive on proceeds of seized funds from Flutterwave amongst others.

Conversely if it were the United States and FACEBOOK or some other American investment was involved even while wielding the stick they will look out for their own business and interest.

A good example here is Apple's experience in China and mirrored on Huawei.

Finally the Nigerian banks quoted in all these transactions should let us know where Flutterwave got it wrong.

Nigeria and the CBN cannot leave Flutterwave to the fate of the Kenyan government without some form of intervention.

Today its Flutterwave tomorrow it could be any other FINTECH or business from Nigeria.

Nigerian government of APC whose sole candidate, the Old Dragon Drug Lord, vowed to continue from where Bubu will stop, will join hands with Kenya to destroy the fintech company. APC doesn't have any policy to strengthen our economy... Only to destroy.

It's so unfortunate we all find ourselves in this situation where the government care less about issues that affect the common man.
