Have you ever heard the phrase "follow the money" before?

Maybe.

Maybe not.

Many people who even use that phrase don't know what it means.

I heard that phrase myself in 2020 and I have never been broke since then.

Today, I am going to explain what it means and how you can actually use it.
Here is the thing...

In this life, it is not all business or money ideas that actually lead to money.
Or a lot of money.

"Following the money" is the act of getting into businesses or markets where there is a lot of
money to be made.

It means the market is a HUGE one where a lot of money is being spent.

Here is an example:

Have you seen various sports betting companies around?
I am talking about the likes of bet9ja, Nairabet, 1xbet etc
About 8years ago, there were a few betting companies and they were making a lot of money.
But the word got out.

And many more companies rushed in to get a cut of the pie.
And I am sure that many more will still rush in.

Another example:
Which business will make you more money?
Selling pharmaceutical drugs or selling bibles?
The answer is obvious, right?
The mistake a lot of people make is to "follow their passion" because that is what a motivational
speaker said they should do.

It is not like following your passion is a bad thing.
But if that passion is not a money market, you are just taking a big risk that can make you go
hungry.

Here is an example.
You must have heard over and over that you can make a lot of money by selling your
experience and knowledge.
Right?
The thing is that is not 100% true.
If your experience or knowledge isn't something that a lot people are willing to pay for, then
you are just wasting your time.

The message here is simple.
If your goal is to make a lot of money, then always follow the money.
Another way to say it is this - "GO WHERE THE MONEY IS"
You will never go wrong with that.

I always follow the money.
I don't try to do any guess work.
You can leave that to the Elon Musk's of this world.

They have billions of dollars to spend trying to figure something out.
You do not have the luxury.
