Today, The embattled, unprogressives, so called All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River North, witnessed shocking Mass defection of its members to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) sighting under-performance, corruption, blatant disregard for Party members and good governance, imposition, etc.

The defectors who cut across Yala, Bekwarra and Ogoja LGAs were received by Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom (Senator Representing Cross River North), Sen. Prof. Sandy Ojang Onor (Central senator and PDP Cross River State Guber Candidate), PDP Vice Chairman-North, Chief Austin Edibe, and other leaders of the Party, at Ogoja recreational Center, Igoli Ogoja LGA.

Both Sen. Jarigbe and Prof. Sandy Ojang Onor welcomed the defectors and advised them to remain steadfast, positive, dedicated to the Party and the interest of the State.

They admonished them to shun the disgraceful, so called ‘food on the table’ appointments because food is not and has never been the problem of Cross Riverians. They reiterated that, if meaningful infrastructures and institution are in place, Cross Riverians will feed and strive in their endeavors without necessarily being appointed.
