Business is good for Nigerian entertainers. It is unarguable that the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and others are not just popular within the African continent but also globally.

Below is the price some Nigerian singers charge for performance.

Wizkid
Ayodeji Balogun, professionally called Wizkid, is a Nigerian songwriter and musician.

He reportedly charges up to $1 million per show.

Davido
Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, stage name “Davido” charged an events management firm, 2icentertainment, $300,000 to perform in Kenya.

Aside from the fee charge, organiser’s interested in booking Davido must also be ready to provide other things including:

Davido prefers a 4 -7-star hotel and gets a suite all for himself.

Burna Boy

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, Burna Boy, also known as Oluwa Burna, the self-described “African Giant,” is undoubtedly one of the top five influential performers in Nigeria and Africa (as of 2022).

He charges a fee of $500,000 per show and not only that, the organiser of the event must provide some other facilities before he can honour the invite.

Some of these facilities include:

Private jet (for him and his manager alone)
14 flight tickets for his band
Must be picked by a convoy of five vehicles at airport
A sprinter van
Three SUVs
A four-five star hotel must be booked
The hotel should have reserved a smoking executive suite, two junior suites, one deluxe king room and six double standard rooms with big mirrors.
Up to 10 rooms booked for him and his band.
12 bottles of still and carbonated spring water
8 ginger ales
Six sprites
Six Pepsi sodas
Fresh grapes
Strawberries
Pineapples
Mangoes
Watermelons
Three bottles of Veuve Cliqout Champagne
One bottle each of Hennessey XO cognac
Jack Daniels whiskey
White wine, preferably a Chardonnay or Chablis
Six black face towels
Four black bath towels.
