Why can't the FG meet the full demand ? There's no money ? But there's money to buy Exotic officials for Niger republic government officials , which is even a very big crime if it were to be in a saner clime ... How can universities be on strike for months and all you use money for is building Railway to your supposed brother-country Niger. Anigreat: 1 Like |

People keep saying ASUU is selfish so what is the FG? I mean FG that got Abacha's loot and decided to siphon in the name of sharing to the vulnurable. Vote wisely for a better future. Remember those that campaigned for the disaster we have now. 2 Likes |

This is the beginning of the end for ASUU. To much aggression usual leads to loss of relevance. |

If you ask those condemning ASUU what their demand is,I'm very sure 90% of them don't even have an idea, all they believe is that ASUU is fighting for their pocket alone. That's how the education sector have been wreck so that the tertiary institutions will continue to produce students with low IQ year in year out. Smh. 2 Likes |

They claimed to be a union with so many intellectuals, but they do not know the right time to press their demand, the fact they think that this government that has few months left will see to their demand is an indication that they not only intellectuals but bunch of foolish intellectuals. Besides, too much of everything will make you loose relevance. Their demands are legitimate, but the lingering strike has made them look like a joker. 1 Like |

OSUigboFlatHead:i cant call u names cos i'm too civil to slander or defame another man's character. Let me educate u, IPPIS is used by the accountant general to steal and not the school anymore. What do i imply? Creating IPPIS has stopped massive looting on the part of lecturers, thats why they are complaining. The same IPPIS has opened a new channel for the AG to loot. Can u relate? IPPIS has made it simple and easy to catch a thief (AG) and also monitor thieves (universities). Its now the duty of relevant authorities to prosecute the AG but they wont because he is of northern extract. Fear north! BTW: Hiding behind a keyboard to insult others exposes ur poor home training and also ur level of reasoning. Be guided! 1 Like |

ASUU is now a useless organization. I encourage FG to disban the union. Ingrates!. They are one of the highest paid workers in Nigeria yet they keep demanding unrealistic amounts year in year out. They extort students to stupor yet that one is not enough. One trillion naira will kill all of you people there. |

ivandragon: Yet another senseless ASUU member (or their sympathiser) trying to pull the wool over Nigerians’ heads. It’s such a shame that a Union that used to enjoy so much goodwill has allowed arrogance, stupidity and greed fritter away every goodwill on the credit side of their balance sheet. Where else in the entire world does a union insist on getting paid through its own developed payment system rather than the one approved by the government and used across its civil/public service? Where? You people are incorrigible and the only luck you currently have is that Nigerians still hate this government more than they now hate you, otherwise you’ll all be in danger of public lynching by now. How wicked can you get? You went on strike for 6 months yet keep insisting that you must be paid those 6 months? Where in the world is that done? It is exactly because successive governments have paid you for work not done that has made you enjoy these strikes and embolden you for more. Eventually, the government might license more unions in the University and sack you all & I see you all scrambling to cross-reapply for your jobs. Shame on you all. Eventually when the citizens get fed up with you, you’ll know what the elders mean when they advise younger ones never to overdo anything. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

With your abusive mind reflected in your comment without a decorum to push your thoughts politely without insults endorses the reason lecturers should still push the industrial actions lecturers need to be motivated well to mould students not in learning alone but in character so we won't convocate animals to our professional circles in the guise of graduate. You have an Android phone at least ,it's not only meant to watch porn and play futile games.revisit their claims you see that the salary improvement is just a minor one.If you need an assistance to Google search intelligently I can refer you to a 13 year old teenager to school you in that for free at least on a pro Bono basis. Conclusively,if your father was a lecturer I think your sentiment would be different. How do u explain a leadership that says there is no money but the largesse the former accountant general stole is three times enough to end this brouhaha, the money Buhari appropriated to procure SUV for Niger republic and another billions again for the Fulani ranching in Katsina. For the sake of your parents who out of their struggle sent u to school no dey reason life from your anus but from your medulla oblongata....... loooooooooool Slynation: |

OderaOdesigo: Classic example of the rot in the Nigeria. Your first inclination is to throw insults & you actually think you made any sense... In fact, you are part of the reason ASUU is on strike because if you were properly trained, you won't display your lack of social etiquitte in such a manner. The government wastes money, you keep quiet. People are saying fund the education section properly & you are spewing trash. Besides, why can't the FG implement the non-financial aspects of the Union's demands? The money spent on the salaries paying workers in non-functional refineries would go along way to address the financial side of ASUU's demands. Or probably in your misguided 1d10cy, you think it is OK to spend billions of naira on non-functional refineries than it is to fund education... |

MrFly:Mu...mu Your poor home training can not make you reason beyond your nose. If ippis was so good, how was the thief defending it able to steal so much? He stole those monies within 4 years and absolutely nothing was know or detected, not until his beneficiaries started fighting and exposing themselves. Stop defending nonsense! |
