Bishop Kukah, the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese has recently said that Nigerian state has proved to be incompetent, grossly malfunctioning and unwilling to commit to the welfare of citizens as the principal basis of governance.

The Catholic Bishop made the statement while speaking in an interview with TVC on Monday, 5th September, 2022.

The cleric said that there is no problem between Christians and Muslims in the country, adding that that Nigeria only has a problem with irresponsible leaders who don’t want to govern properly and religious leaders who use religion as a tool of oppression.

His words are thought provoking, see full interview;

Nigeria is an artificial country. Too large and complex for black people to make it work. Break it up.
Ibo, Fulani, Yoruba will never live peacefully together.
