The 15th Headies Award took place at the Cobb Arts and Culture events Center in Atlanta USA on 4th September 2022, this event has met a lot of criticism as to why an African award was held on a foreign soil .

Aside from the venue of the events , others have raised an eyes with the presence of the Lagos state government at the award and why an industry that stood up against the oppressive government during the #endsars protest will give such recognition to someone who was alleged to have partaken in the order.

The events has created so many buzz from Tunde ednut announcing his long time rivalry Wizkid for and award ,to Don jazzy walking out on Dbanj on stage ,also portable has been in the news for his reactions after the award and Zinolesky fans have assured him after a video of the Malian crew chanting to one of his songs went viral

The list is full and in the video below a new issue as to if davido award category was a way of headies organizers to just fill him into the mix as you see most nominated under that category, the likes of 2face, don jazzy and rugged man are elders who have stepped back in the music line for the new ones to thrive , but davido is still in active service and should be awarded in same category as wizkid and burna boy , these are just opinions and cruise so feel free to rant
