The Director, Media and Publicity of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, has attacked the media for not reporting the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. Onanuga alleged a deep conspiracy in the media against the government, arguing that it has recorded a lot of success in security and the economy. He made the allegation on the Arise TV Morning Show program on Thursday while fielding questions on what Bola Ahmed Tinubu will campaign with. He said, ‘’Our candidate will campaign, first of all, on zone track record as a successful eight years governor. He will also campaign on the bold legacies of this administration. ‘’This government, contrary to the very untrue, very false narrative, has done a lot of things, many achievements that the government ought to be proud of. And as a party, we are proud of this government. We are not saying there are no challenges, but quite a lot of challenges, just as you mentioned, economy and security. ‘’There seems to be a conspiracy in the media not to highlight some of the achievements of the government. The media have not been reporting on these stories. The government has been recording a lot of success, especially after the acquisition of Tucano jets. The government has been doing a lot. Many of these miscreants and terrorists are being degraded, camps are being destroyed. Tinubu has no SINGULAR achievement in eight years. He want to claim Marwa success, Fashola and Ambode achievements. Point to one things he achieved, they will shouting blueprint. No bi only blue, na greenprint. Umder him armed robbers were terrorizing people on Oshodi-Isolo, Akpongbo, Badagri expressway, Lagos-Ibadan expressway to Third mainland road. You dare not have a car breakdown on any parts of Lagos. All he was doing was making signpost, "THIS ROAD BELONGS TO FG GOVERNMENT", yet his touts will go to the same road to collect road tax, radio tax, and all manner of levies. See glorified mumu glorifying a government that was a disaster. It is the Buhari’s government inglorious achievements of escalating poverty, fleeting inflation, economic downturn, 4-digits inflation, widespread deteriorating insecurity, endless bloodshed/killings by Fulani, bandits and BH terrorists? So the media being gagged under this tyrannical govt can no more report the govt so called "achievements? Perhaps these idiots still think everyone is a zombie. Now Nigerians you have it. Validated: If your state had a "monumental failure" like Tinubu it should at least be one of the 20 largest economies in Africa. The entire South east does not even feature on that list. |
