The party constitution/presidence mandates that the office of chairman of the party and Presidential flag bearer must be from either of the two major geopolitical zone and never both...

Meaning if the office of Chairman is a Northern politician, Presidential flag bearers must be from the South and likewise if office of chairman of the party is from the North, Presidential flag bearers must be from the South.......
