It’s a well documented thing that older European premium cars are moneypits and they don’t need to be malhandled before they assume such status symbols. They’re loaded with tons of features and needles complexities which more often than needed will break down or wear out.

They pack in too much technology in those stuff
They often Dev certain technical issue
Their buid quality is of course excellent
Not disputing that
I'm taking about expensive parts
Most part comes in pairs
Parts fall of especially interior quite quickly because there are just too much electrical compenents

Everything is automated in a modern benz or bmw


I remember benz packed in one navigation stuff in their earlier series

With the advent of modern computer and internet globalization
That stuff is just a piece of electrical junks now

They are quick to modernization but that comes at a cost

Too much technology too much problem to handle as the car age

They are not build to last forever
Even the Volkswagen and benz executives know this


Omoooo....you must have a long history with BMW o. I agree with all you have said. That's why I'm leaning towards the infinity g35 to give me that sporty feel. But, when I become alright, financially, I'll get a BMW. I think e39 is quite reliable tho....as it doesn't come with all those bells and whistles. But, anyhow sha, I'll own a German machine, one day!! Boss, which Japanese model do you currently drive?

Agreed... But this is a used car sir, how do u except at least one thing not to be fixed. Even tokunbos have things to be fixed.

[s]Not at all... Me saying nothing to fix is the best way to say no major fixing. This is a used car, u can't expect no minor fixing..thats if you want it to your taste.. Won't be saying no fixing when I know the AC is out or engine issues. What you call no fixing may have minor fixing for someone else.
I said no fixing because there's no fixing I'm aware of[/s].
