So around may ending I got a Mazda 3 2005 hatchback model, which was Naija used.
The car has a very good engine (one that still steams very well in the morning and during cold weather)
and all, but one thing about it was that the car had an engine seat problem, which I bought, hoping it's a
minor issue that could be fixed. Also, upon purchase, we notice the gear count stops at 3 instead
of 5. Though the seller confessed he once changed the gear and the incomplete count was a fault from
the rewire who damaged the meter from displaying well, my mechanic confirmed it was a good buy.

But moving forward, I noticed this loud windy sound coming from inside the car anytime I'm on speed.
I also noticed the car tried clocking 4th gear on two occasions but quickly went back to 3. "

Has any Mazda user here experienced the same?

I have been told it's a wiring problem. But I want to ask if it's okay to drive down to Ladipo where parts are readily available
and also meet a Mazda specialist. (I'm in Ibadan) I really love the car. It's very strong and accelerates fast even with incomplete gear.

By the way, Mazda is a brand you should really try out. very strong and reliable car. Barely develops a fault. Also before you buy a Mazda, ensure you have a reliable specialist that knows Mazda well, or else, any Kazeem will leave malaria and treat headache
