Buhari failed to write his name in gold.
He could have against all odds support lgbo Presidency in APC.

Politics is about interest and building bridges. How do you expect Buhari to single handedly against all odds support Igbo presidency, was he against it in the first place?

Igbos are not ready for presidency. Period.

The reason people are hyping Peter Obi today is just because he is the only alternative available for the Christians for now. Despite that he will not still win a ward across river Niger up north.

Nice one

Buhari has done well in terms of infrastructure for the SE

Better than a lot of previous government

So a poorly constructed road by a state governor is now Buhari's project?

Did Buhari really drive down that road from beginning to end before commissioning?

APC have brought governance to an all time low.

Yeye dey smell.

I thought the usual practice was to drive through the road before commissioning takes place. Where is the road?
I live along that road. It is very solid with good drainage at both sides. And we have been using it for like two months now, no sign of damage to it

When will Buhari commission his own projects?
This is a federal road fixed by the governor on credit. Buhari will pay for it later.

BUHARI COMMISSIONS ORLU/OWERRI DUAL CARRIAGE ROAD

President Muhammadu Buhari has today, 13th September, 2022 inaugurated for use, the 37km Owerri to Orlu dual carriage way in Imo State amidst tight security.

The Owerri-Orlu road was in terrible shape before Hope Uzodinma was sworn in as Governor of Imo State on January 14, 2020. He awarded the contract for the reconstruction and dualization of the road to Craneburg – a world class construction company that has today, delivered a solid road project and the first of its kind in Imo since 1999.

Owerri-Orlu road is a very important economic road that cuts across 6 Local Government Areas of the State and the resolve of the Uzodimma-led administration to give it a lasting facelift alongside Owerri-Okigwe road, is a very strategic one, given that it connects two major economic towns of the State aimed to foster trade and movement of agricultural produce from the hinterlands to urban centers.

The joy of Imo people knows no bounds as to the current state of the road, its drains, markings and lightening, as they illuminate hope for better economic fortunes and prosperity.

Mr. President once again poured econmuims on the type of leadership Gov. Uzodimma has provided for Imo people and his gallantry strides in the area of infrastructural development, where he shares similar vision with Gov. Uzodimma.

Nigeria is multi-ethnic & an appropriate way to maintain some sort of balance is through power rotation between the north & south, though competence should be made mandatory.
Also micro zoning should be encouraged. If u allow democracy to be practised strictly the ideal way, chances will be very slim for some smaller tribes to win the presidency.

In the case of southern Nigeria in this election cycle,Yorubas say it's their turn when they've held the positions of presidency,VP & speaker at different times since 1999. The Igbos r yet to take their turn but Tinubu & co preferred an alliance with the north in 2015 to the detriment of the SS. If that doesn't define treachery, then what does. Unfortunately, this is what the SW describes as smartness & so called sophistication. It mustn't always be about u.
We had a good thing going in the south without which it will be difficult to defeat the north until the miscalculation of Jagaban.
However, karma came calling & the north is abandoning the gentleman agreement it had with Tinubu to succeed PMB,( reason why Tinubu never criticised the failures of PMB's administration)
The Igbos on their part should also realise that a lot of work comes with laying claim to it being ur turn. Bridges should be built & any fears others harbour should be allayed.

Post 2023, will the SW still feel comfortable to go into an alliance with the north or will they swallow their pride and mend fences with their southern neighbors, then patiently support whoever's turn it is & when it gets to them, the gesture will be reciprocated.
The SE & SS traditionally have a similar voting pattern and can easily support one another. SW should get along otherwise they might face a period of political alienation because no man is an island.
