How To Get Ahead In Education With Math Games For Kids by skidos2021: 9:57am On Sep 14, 2022
What is the best way to develop & enhance a kid's skills and long-term abilities to get them ahead in education and life? Leading psychologists, neurologists, and child care experts agree that engaging kids with new, interesting, and educational tasks are the way to develop new abilities and neural pathways. A holistic curriculum that includes several different ideas and subjects like math, is necessary. Math develops memory & fact retention abilities in kids. Math skills in the younger years can positively affect brain formation later in life.
But kids need to develop their visuospatial abilities, and other neural abilities like perseverance, speed, flexibility, and hand-to-eye coordination too; abilities that kids learn from games and other activities. The standard curriculum may not teach or sharpen these abilities. So is it possible to integrate games with math? Yes! But you might ask why.
Sitting down and learning about new ideas and subjects is dreadful for children. Although concepts need to be understood only once, practice is what makes a man perfect! Constant practice is necessary to get ahead but it is boring and requires a lot of concentration. Too much practice can get the kids quickly disinterested. But what if we were to combine math with fun so kids would keep practicing it? SKIDOS games help kids do just that! SKIDOS develops learning games for 4 year olds which teach kids subjects like math while simultaneously developing their visuospatial & neurological abilities. Abilities like speed, flexibility, and hand-to-eye coordination, which are associated with playing games are also developed while playing SKIDOS games. This added exposure to a new collaboration between games and learning gives them an edge and gets them ahead in education.
