Her campaign against rich old and corrupt leaders, is particularly significant to Nigeria, ahead of the 2023 presidential elections.

The country's comatose state is due to inept and corrupt leadership by deceptive politicians. Looting of the public treasury is their trademark.

Nigeria is currently tottering, due to reign of impunity by these shameless leaders, who neither possess the capacity nor character to lead anything.

Nigerians should reject all these old and ruthless political buffons, whose sole ambition is to cart away the the common patrimony.

Thunberg's COP 26 speech is a clear warning to Nigerian voters, to enthrone credible leaders who have the capacity, character and acumen to birth a new Nigeria.

Nigerians must take a cue from Anambra State, where voters rejected all forms of material and monetary inducements, but voted for a good and popular leader, Governor Charles Soludo.

Next year's elections will afford the electorate, a golden opportunity to vote in men and women of honour, who are ready to serve the populace creditably and humbly.

Thunberg's campaign is not just about environmental sustainability, but it is about social justice, equity, good leadership and poverty eradication.

Her persistent call for a better world is germane, profound and prophetic.
