A ready Christian is a Christian living in the world, but not of the world.

What does it mean to be not of the world?
When you are not indulging in worldly lusts and unfruitful works of darkness.

It is such kind of Christians, that the Lord is coming for.
They are the ones called overcomers.
Because they weren't overcame by the negative influences but overcame those influences.

But according to Jesus Christ, a follower of His should not work for food that perishes nor should anyone who lives for Him be out looking for job. He said instead that they ought to work for the food that only He can give to then - the work that the Father has for His own to do.

So, are you really telling people to be ready for Jesus Christ or for some other god?
