Kudos to ICPC. They are really doing well in the fight against corruption without making so much noise.

But those that did it are still in the system waiting for next year budget, that’s not how to fight corruption and next year they will try new ways ICPC don’t know about. You should ask how comes it happens every year

Why no one was ever punish despite all these huge revelation. Who is signing and crediting those ghost accounts on monthly basis?? We need to change our mentality in this country. God already help us with abundance resources to go round all of us. But deliberately, we choose to be impoverishing many others, since we have advantage to be in the front is not fair. We need to strike out poverty mentality in our collective mindset of about only me alone.

When ghost workers were discovered under Jonathan he was corrupt.

When ghost workers are discovered under Buhari, especially his media aide Bashir Ahmad collecting millions without working, he is fighting corruption.

If you understand how the public service works, you will understand the difficulties that come with fighting corruption. The entire system is designed to enable public officers milk the country at various levels. Corruption can only be eliminated when the entire public service is eliminated.

Therefore, we must encourage anti corruption agencies to keep innovating and doing their best every year.

That’s the funniest part of our corruption story in Nigeria. Children of corrupt civil servants and corrupt government contractors are all over the place blaming cursing Buhari when they should be cursing their fathers, mothers and uncles.

Exactly why I don't believe any politician criticizing those who are currently 'eating' apology to Reuben Abati. Those who claims they're not corrupt are saying that either bcoz they've not been caught or bcoz they've not really been exposed to huge amount of money.

This is the only anti graft agency in Nigeria that’s working back to back, that was how they discovered billions of naira looted by former jamb registrar prof Dibu ojerinde, he used the money to build private schools in ilorin and put his children as the owner, icpc has now secured interim forfeiture for the property now

Is like saying let’s eliminate everybody in a particular village because 5% of them are criminals.

You fight corruption with a reward and punishment system.

You reward who is not corrupt and punish who is corrupt . If you like catch 1000 ghosts workers, as long as you don’t punish the perpetrators and “REWARD “ those following the rules, nothing will change.

You are paying #30,000 minimum wage and inflation is now 20.6% . It will come to a point when you will say “ anything wey go happen, make e happen “ I go join them do this corruption because nothing has happened to them and me that am good, I am dying slowly here.

Reward and punish but dwell more on rewarding good behavior

In the federal public sector, 95% are actually corrupt. They build corruption into the budget from the preparatory stage and the National Assembly pad their own corrupt interest into it before it becomes law. At the end of the day, we have a budget with close to 60% of total expenditure legally budgeted for corruption.

We have two options to deal with corruption, crash the entire system and let’s come up with a new system for the country with very strong checks and balances or we continue with the current system of punishing the unfortunate few who gets exposed by the system while the rest go home and enjoy their loots.

Nigerian Youths are really lazy.
This figure shows that N49.9 billion that's supposed to go to the Nigerian youth in the labor market is being pocketed by a few useless individuals.
This is above corruption,it's outright stealing.

Your lives will forever remain the same unless you vote out these old cargoes.

grin, if only you know, all this long story was done so they they can increase their budget allocations to the 1.8 billion. And the 1.8 billion will also include “thank you for increasing it” inside. grin

More money for everyone

I thought I was the only one who read that part. The didn't state the percentage increase. From 1.8 Billion to (x).It's not a mistake but a deliberate attempt to hide the increment.
