It's so maniacally bewildering how igbos throw venomous tantrums and vituperations on other Ethnic groups in the Country, particularly Yorubas and Fulanis. Whereas other tribes have always shown great love for the Southeasterners.

Examples abound of how Fulanis have appointed igbos into sensitive federal and international positions. Just to mention a few,

In 1963, Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa appointed Emeka Anyaoku into the Permanent Service of the United Nations In New York, and he continued to Enjoy the Goodwill until 1990, when Babangida facilitated his appointment as Commonwealth Secretary General, a position he held for 11 Years

In the same vein, Alh Shehu Usman Shagari jettisoned All other options and appointed Dr Alex Ekwueme of Igbo descent as his Vice Presidential candidate for both 1979 and 1983 elections. Ekwueme served as VP for 4 years and was about to continue in 1983 when a coup displaced Shagaris Government.

In 2019, Atiku Abubakar against all odds nominated Mr Peter Obi as his Vice Presidential Candidate, bringing the latter to National Prominence, a Goodwill he now enjoys in the buildup to the 2023 elections.

Not Forgetting Igbos Enjoyed juicy appointments during the Babangida, , Abacha and Yaradua administration
