It's not about the money, consider the possibility of getting a visa. Would the Visa officer be convinced that studying French or Spanish language is a valid reason for traveling outside? question for yourself.

Thank you so much, I'll be applying for a student visa and it's not because I can't study it in Nigeria, but because I want to improve my proficiency and to escape the consistent ASUU strike.
Any other strong reasons, many won't accept that as a true reason and likely deny your visa...
