It's good to know your identity that you may walk accordingly.

Those in Christ Jesus are identified as the children of obedience.
Therefore, they are indebted to live by the leading of the Holy Ghost, and not according to the flesh.

Living by the leading of the Holy Ghost puts to death the works of the flesh.
And the outcome, life.
But if we keep living according to the flesh, death is the outcome.
Not death of body, or whatever social life etc.
But separation from God.
