The big brother naija show is purely an entertainment Tv program aimed at creating a beautiful end to end television experience.It transcends it's programming intentions to be merely entertaining to be educative and informational. There is a wide claim that the show promotes immorality. I agree to a little extent.I believe those who hold such opinion alone about the show have a lopsided and myopic perspective on the show. The daily and weekly tasks are activities the critics will successful fail in a gallant style if they were in the same position. The tasks exposes their creativity ability, presentation skills, team playing capacity, photo memory strength and even strategy awareness. We have seen debate tasks, creating ad commercials, quizz and answers session which required less than 30 minutes preparation. Below are instances in the house and the life lessons from them:


1.Beauty is a very intelligent lady who understands life dynamics theoretically but fails to apply them to herself. I saw a conversation she had with Phyna when the latter had an altercation with one of the housemates. She gave an inspirational counsel to her. I had to adjust my mind to know if she is a certified therapist with specialisation on anger management. She said " When u have a brawl with anyone one , it's okay to be angry but overcome your emotions and respond with kindness. You have successfully denied that person power to control your life" .When a similar situation present itself to her she failed woefully and was disgraceful evicted from the show. She was over protective of a guy who never had her full interest at heart.
LESSONS: Be the best example of your advice. Take people advice and leave their personality, kos you be shocked at their reaction. Never love someone who doesn't reciprocate the same energy for you.


2.Amaka: A nice lady from Anambra with a promising prospects of coveting the grand prize of the show. She became the lead gossip peddler of the house which later landed her in the vawulence soup prepared by vawulence comrades in the house. She lost focus when she started chasing after shadows( Giddifire,Dotun and groovy) .She was one of those who pretended to be sorry for Beauty's exit but was indirectly throwing jibes at her in her absence. She partnered blindly with Phyna who was smarter than her in the game. She got groovy from her and couldn't defend her when there was a need to be defended.
LESSON: Having a promising prospects doesn't make you a winner in Life game. You must be disciplined enough to follow life's terms and conditions to emerge victorious. Cherish those who genuinely love you and don't ever chase those who don't love you in return. Be strategic about partnerships. Study them to know if they are trust worthy. Don't be involved in gossip chain especially in the ones that they aren't your primary friend kos las las them go dump you just as Chomzy dumped her and supported Bella in front of Ebuka.

3.Adekunle:I call him the most astute and strategic player of the house. He knows his onions of studying people and even predicting successful the outcomes of events in the house especially the SHELLA ship.Many were against him even chichi tagged him all manner of names.At the penultimate week the reality dawn on them all that this guy is only been realistic.He is a man of many parts.He can sew,he has good oratory and communication skills, strong leadership qualities and a futurist.This has earned him advantages in winning tasks in the house.

4.The three Edo witches( Phyna, Rachel &Chichi): These three characters relationship which on the surface is a sisterhood type borne from ancestral similarities is founded on a mischievous foundation. They traded premium gossips and mock at housemates against them especially Chi-Chi the lead mocker of the heinous group. The lesson here is never mock people when they are at their low even if you are right. Chichi instigated Phyna and Rachel to mock Sheggz and Bella after Ebuka had shaken their ship table at the eviction show. Chichi literally carried the mockery on her head and curated it with dirty market woman vibes. Almost the weekend the table has turned against her. As her companion are not in good terms with her. She is now a loner and confused.

Daniella: Yessss what comes to mind seeing her is the easy virtue in her to guys especially those who show attention.She was involved with Khalid in what the viewers rated as under the "sheet shagging" but was debunked by Khalid at his media round and was tagged as aggressive cuddling.Omor that na political statement to vindicate his premature romantic feelings.Immediatey he was evicted she was in a thing with Dotun.
Lesson: she was captured relating her life journey to her bestie (Allyson) that she was exposed to porn at a tender age of 9.Imagine the negative psychological impact it has on her till that inspite of her intelligence.Her literally prowess is in a league of its own.She has no match in task that has the demand of presentations.She sha must floor you except for Adekunle that's a strong contest to her.I have learnt that confidence and poise needed for a successful presentation.

Sheggz and Bella: These are kids from a rich home even though I haven't seen a verified proof to sheggz claim till now except for his British accent.The sheggz guy brags annoyingly but bella isn't into that line.Sheggz talks of how he rolls with the creme de la creme of the society.How many mopols are his body guards etc.This ego made him enslave the likes of Dotun into his den and few others to believing his narratives without a questioning mind.How can someone be talking about having a strong football career but injury ended it and you couldn't even ask the name of the club,the league,the events that happened during his time to ascertain the authenticity of his clams.Bella a beautiful woman from a royal family who is smart enough not to bring her family name to the show which was what beauty was mentally bankrupt of and it was used against her.However,she has a strong sadistic feeling when another person's wins task more than her.She was so bitter about Hermes winnings at a point and was also didn't display the spirit of sportsmanship when chomzy outclassed her in the HOH games.She literally couldn't cook for her man but depended heavily on others for proper food but she can boast that she is a great cook.Please let me not vomit oooo just remembering her porridge spaghetti.She is very very judgemental.At mist time she brought the class thing into the game.Thank God for their fierce and vocal nature of Phyna who Gabe it to them hot hot at their altercations which "mellowed"Sheggz.
Lesson: Never raise kids to be so useless because you can afford house helps.Make them responsible by involving them in home chores activities.At some point,life will always demand those skills from you whether u like it or not and it would be so embarrassing that one would say "those who brought you up did a wrong job".Don't over pamper children or give them everything they want.Let them see the bright and tougher side of life so that at the worst moments their survival skills will see them through.Why is sucide too rampant with the middle class and the rich and not the poor? You know the answers.

There are myriads of life lessons I have gotten from the show especially from Laycon.Even though white money later dey so anyhow post show era.At least you understand strategy from him.He has watched and studied the trend of the show well that when he tried activating the victim card with Pere but didn't go his way.He had the kitchen strategy pan out for him well.


Kindly share the positive side of the show.We can't say because of one black stain on a white cloth we will deduce that it's the whole cloth is now black.The show is rated 18.The rating is for a reason.If you aren't capable of handling the kisses, smooching and cuddling under the sheets you can watch another station.The task that involves the display of good presentation skills, strategy execution, creativity, attention to details etc is just the icing on the. make for me.Mind you I only watch the Sunday eviction show( 1 hour) , Monday HOH game( 1 hour) finish. I get updates from YouTube influencers who capture the whole daily activities in a short and concise video.
