Letter Of Concern From A Constituent by ManofgodJnr3(m): 9:51am On Sep 19, 2022
Dear Senator Obinna Ogba,
Senator representing Ebonyi Central Zone,

LETTER OF CONCERN FROM A CONSTITUENT

My name is Nwoba Chika Nwoba, a 31 year old male native of Amangwuru village, Ekpelu community, Ikwo LGA of Ebonyi State. Ikwo is a local government out of the four LGAs making up Ebonyi Central Zone. I am a PDP member and currently serving as Publicity Secretary of PDP in Ebonyi State. But this letter is borne out of personal concern and has nothing in relation to my office at PDP.

Sir, I listened to your gleefully maledictory speech today, Sunday, 18th of September, 2022 at the event of media parley and interaction with your supporters at your campaign office in Abakaliki. The outing came on the heels of your defeat at the Supreme Court by High Chief Ifeanyi Odii whom you contested against at the Ebonyi PDP gubernatorial primary election in May. Your comments evoked insatiable quantum of ignominy, maleficent political verbiage and unhindered torrent of malfeasant utterances not speechworthy as a presumed adult leader. The unbridled vocalisation of the falsity, "all the Senatorial, House of Representatives and Assembly candidates belong to my lineup" is not only jurisprudentially incoherent, but an expression of unprovoked incandescence borne out of a failed attempt at visualising an entitlement mental picture.

Dear Senator Ogba, at that underjoyed gathering, you assured your visibly mirthless audience that you were heading back to the Supreme Court to pursue the same gubernatorial ticket that the same Supreme Court ruled against you a few days back. You assured them that the Supreme Court would return justice to you. One wonders the possibility of the Supreme Court overturning their own judgement passed unanimously by the five judges the matter was assigned to. I got information that the Senior Advocates (SANs) you hired for the just concluded judgment rejected reassigning of this anomalous second coming to them, leaving you to hire non SANs for the strange kickback. I am very sure that you have been approached for peace talks by the winner but you rebuffed the effort.

Sir, does it actually occur to you that the money you have been pushing into this now displaced ambition belongs to the people of Ebonyi Central Zone as you have no other source of tangible cash inflow known or unknown. This invidious insistence poses a further threat to the representative democracy some of the dividends of which the people of the zone expected could get to them through you - reason you are the only one who has attempted the Senate for two times in the zone since 1999 irrespective of the fact that you come from a very minute clan.
As an Ikwo man, I cannot tell anyone the location of your single achievement in a LGA that's the largest in Ebonyi State with 20 electoral wards, apart from those you influenced civil service jobs for who are not much in number
This is told of your representation also in Ishielu, Ezza North and South LGAs. Some of the things you claim to have attracted are still in the legislative draft with no trace of reality. How could you have made Ebonyi happy when your people of Nkalagu are not happy with your senatorial sojourn for close to eight years? Does one give what one doesn't have? If one cannot handle judiciously a smaller position, is it a bigger one that such a person can handle?

Senator, sir, in a single position contest involving multiple persons, only one person wins. In this context, the actual winner has said that it's a win-win scenario. For this, you were expected to show the spirit of sportsmanship by working with him in the interest of our party. Insisting that you are getting back to the Supreme Court smacks of a display of entitlement mentality and brazen cowardice. At your gathering today, you incited your audience to the PDP and the rule of law. Those who won tickets belong to the PDP and not you. Away from that fact, your so-called lineup has not been issued with certificates of recognition by the PDP. The other was rather given return certificates. One wonders if you run a different PDP which issues certificates of return in abstract... One wonders if you run a different INEC that recognises failed aspirants over duly elected ones. One wonders if the gubernatorial ticket of PDP was a personal venture to you. One also wonders if out of the thirteen aspirants only you have what it takes to fight dirty. You distorted the presumed zoning arrangement as the chairman of the committee just to favour yourself. Chief Odii told you that two of you should resign so the ticket should go to the Ebonyi North but you refused. Finally, you lost it. The pain is what you have refused to nurse with the spirit of sportsmanship. You can now imagine how the people of Ebonyi North feel as a result of your gluttony for what doesn't belong to you.

Dear Senator Obinna Ogba, you are the least performed National Assembly member from Ebonyi Central Zone and it's not in doubt. Sen. Michael Nnachi who's a first time Senator has constructed about eight roads with coaltar in Ebonyi South. But as a second timer, how many have you constructed? The answer is, none! Could it mean that it's only empty vessels that make the loudest of noise? I am not saying that you are one, but your near-none achievement states clearly that you are playing with the prosperity of the people of Ebonyi Central Zone. The people of Ebonyi Central Zone never sent you to contest Governor on their behalf, neither did you seek their concern as a group to use their mandate and contest the gubernatorial ticket of the PDP. By returning to the Supreme Court to make mess of the intelligence of the people you hold their mandate, it is clear that you are not pursuing gubernatorial ticket, but something else only you know!
