A second-year student of Fine Arts Department, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK, identified as Onyemaobi Esther Chidimma has been found dead in her hostel.

Her decomposed body was discovered at Immaculate hostel, Ifite Awka, Anambra State. It is believed that she had died several days before her body was discovered.

We all know the strike has entered its 7th month in Nigeria but we keep hearing of students of federal universities in d east dying in their hostels. I think the school management should issue a statement on students who choose to remain back while the strike still lingers as staying back at their rosy.
