I understand that. Nigeria has silly ethnic politics on serious issues. The issue needs a political solution. The loss of livelihoods (climate change and the emergence of formal land tenure) is bringing both economic and psychological trauma on dispossessed groups. Then there is the criminality that it is pushing some of them forward ( rustling, banditry etc). A shame that this has been allowed to affect innocent villagers/rural population.

Mauritanian Fulanis (around the middle senegal river valley) are mostly retreating to Senegal and are actual victims of Arab Mauritanian racism and dispossession. Not gunmen.

We have a Federal government who cares about the safety & security of it citizens lives & property. It's a pity I'm a Nigerian, The country with a non-functional govt., no light, no security, no food, no job, no money and even now that they are hell bent on taking our lives, definitely, Nigerians have no life. But when you asked them, the normal response you would get is, " there's no country that is not facing insecurity now", What an agony, yet they want to continue to stay in power so as to continue to perpetuate and nurture the evil that they have planted.
