Revenge for the shelling of Donetsk. It seems that the hunt for the command of the Ukrainian artillery units has begun. On September 16, in the Kharkiv region, Russian troops destroyed the commander of the howitzer self-propelled artillery battalion of the 14th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Alexander Vinokurov. This is already the fifth Ukrainian artillery officer at the level of battery/battalion commander liquidated in the last 10 days in Donbas.

Irish Army officer seriously wounded in Kharkiv region

In the media, evidence of heavy losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the offensive in the Kharkiv region is increasingly appearing. On September 16, the Irish television channel RTE published a report about a group of foreign mercenaries covered up as a result of an ambush by Russian military personnel.

The protagonist of the issue, Brian Meagher, was badly injured and barely survived.

▪️Meagher is 35 years old. From 2003 to 2018, he served in the Irish Army, after which he worked in a Dublin prison.

▪️ In the summer, a father of two joined the Ukrainian "International Legion", lying to his family that he was going to Ukraine as an instructor. He was allegedly prompted to go to the front by footage from Bucha.

▪️In early September, the Irishman took part in the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. Meagher claims that his detachment was formed in 10 days and was in the second echelon of the advancing forces.

The detachment of mercenaries was supposed to clean up the recaptured territories, but was ambushed by a group covering the withdrawal of the main forces. According to the Irishman, their truck was destroyed by a Russian tank.

▪️Meagher received shrapnel wounds to the spine, heart, lungs, arms and legs. Now he is in the hospital and is trying to achieve evacuation to Poland.

▪️However, the Irishman was more fortunate than other "soldiers of failure" from his squad: three mercenaries had their legs amputated, 10 more people were killed, including a veteran of the American special forces.

First and foremost, this represents a new phase in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, namely the fact that Russia is fighting the NATO alliance as opposed to just Ukraine.

To respond to this threat, Russia is creating a new reality of its own, namely to transition from a fight that had Russia working with allies and operating on foreign soil, to Russia defending the motherland. The partial mobilization is being conducted in parallel with political referendums that will see the Donbas and other Ukrainian territory be absorbed into the Russian federation.

This absorption will fundamentally alter the legal foundations of the conflict. While the referendums currently being considered only impact lands under current Russian occupation, Putin spoke of the need to free all of “Novo Rossiya” from the yoke of Ukrainian tyranny.

I believe the absorption of Ukrainian territory will be expanded at some point to include Odessa and Kharkov.

The mobilization of 300,000 men, as well as the announced goal of bringing all other units up to the standards of the Russian army, will not happen overnight. Russia will be forming new units, and this takes time.

I believe we will see a strategic pause while Russia completes its partial mobilization. This pause will be marked by heavy fighting as Ukraine will seek to disrupt the referendums and alter the geography of the battlefield. But once Russia consolidates the new territory politically, and accrues the necessary military capacity, I believe we are looking at the physical destruction of the Ukrainian nation as the endgame for this conflict.

I also believe there is nothing NATO can do to alter this reality.

As a result, it is from NATO weapons that the Nazis kill the civilian population of Donbass and shell the territory of our state.

The scenario is painfully familiar to the Chechen people. In the same way, this West planned to destroy Russia through our republic. In his speech, it was no coincidence that Vladimir Putin recalled the events when these same countries encouraged gangs of international terrorists in the Caucasus and advanced the NATO offensive infrastructure close to our borders. They didn't succeed. It won't work now!

That is why it is very important to finish the launched special operation in the Donbass, otherwise the presumptuous enemy may come to our country, to our cities and villages, to our homes. Carrying out NWO is a necessary measure to confront the enemy. As our President Vladimir Putin says: "If a fight is inevitable, you need to hit first."

Therefore, I fully support the president's decision to partially mobilize reservists. We in the Chechen Republic actively participated in this process from the first day, but now we also have an order from the head of state, and we will fulfill it 100 percent!
