No doubt Babangida is one of the best leaders we have got in this country. There were lots of infrastructural works during his regime. But SAP and the killing of Mamman Vatsa were were the major disadvantages of his regime.

What of the Annulment of the 1993 presidential election, adjudged to be the most peaceful and fairest election till date and the treachery that led to it? Many informed people all over the world believe that the Annulment was his greatest undoing, not SAP or the killing of Mamman Vatsa, who incidentally was Babangida's Bestman at his wedding. Sir, what's your personal opinion about the Annulment? Would you have misplaced Babangida's most odious mistake if it's done against the Idoma or the Nkwerre or the Igbo or the Hausa or any other Nigerian ethnicity for that matter?

That annulment alone remains the only regret in IBB's life. At times, you could pick that from his words each time june 12 issues are discussed. MKO's spoon was long enough. Ibb only did what he did, based on his interest. MKO was a good friend of IBB. There was even a time it was speculated that one of Abiola's children was going to marry one of IBB's. They're so close to each other. They dated for years.

You cannot manipulate or influence IBB. He'd still do what he had in mind to do, after sampling people's opinion. As you can see, he's not reckoned with, anywhere in the world today, except in Nigeria cos of his action on June 12. He deceived the international communities too. There is more to the annulment than you know, Maybe Babaginda knew Abacha is going to stage a coup if he handover to Abiola and it might be bloodly (killing Abiola in the process). Maybe that is the reason why.

Self Acclaimed King of Abuja And Political Youth Activist MORALMORE Meets IBB Over State Of The Nation

A self-acclaimed king of Abuja the nation's capital and activist, Mr Emmanuel Asogwa ~ has held a closed-door meeting with Nigeria's former military president, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his Hilltop home in Minna, Nigeria state where he discussed state of the nation with the octogenarian.

At the meeting which he said is a consultation visit, Mr Emmanuel Asogwa said he and the former Nigerian leader discussed extensively on the country's state of affairs especially, the youths involvement in active politics.

Describing the consultation as highly successful and fruitful, he said Nigerian youths have come of age to take active participation in the country's governance, noting that 2023 will be a year to re-write history.

He also extolled IBB's rich experience as a military and political leader, saying it should be a course of study in the tertiary institution.

"Indeed It was a dream come true having to share over an hour with the Former Head Of State.

"His life history and experiences are supposed to be studied as course in tertiary institutions as one of the most successful, powerful and intelligent Army General we ever produced" his social media post partly reads.

Highest inflation this country has ever experienced. One of the most corrupt government ever. Naira fell from 1.75 to a dollar to 22 naira to a dollar---making the highest devaluation ever. I find it weird that you're calling the worst government ever the best. Literally, Abacha only did worse on humanitarian crises. I can give you more fact if you want.
