Allay fears of Islamisation over the Muslim-Muslim adopted by ruling the All Progressives Congress (APC), the party’s Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Thursday met with the Pentecostal Bishops Forum of Northern Nigeria.

Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, said his decision to pick former governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, as his running mate was not a threat to the Christian community.

Speaking at the meeting held in Abuja, Tinubu said he picked Shettima based on competence and not religious considerations.

Tinubu said: “How will Nigeria develop? How do we banish hunger? How do we improve the insecurity and how do we eliminate killing one another, and shedding the blood of innocent citizens, that is what we must take to the office and not our religion. Read full story here
