The 3 Ways Of Accepting God's Word And The Fruit They Produce Differently. by Robisky001(m): 7:56am On Sep 25, 2022
How attentive are you at listening especially to the word of God?

God is always willing to communicate with each of us and help us comprehend his written word. The audience for Jesus' story of the sower is those who receive his message.

Below are the 3 ways to accept God's word and the various fruits they produce.

Anchor text Luke 8:4-15.

The Prejudiced hearer who has a shut mind

Such a person is unteachable, incorrigible and blind to the things of God. No matter how you tried to teach the word this set of persons have their minds sealed and inaccessible.

The shallow hearer who fails to think things out or think them through

Such a person lacks spiritual depth. They may initially respond with emotional fervour, but when it wears off their mind wanders to something else.

The person who has many interests and cares, but who cannot hear and understand what is truly important.

Such a person is forever too busy to pray and to listen and reflect on God's word because he or she allows other things to occupy their mind and heart.

Whose voice or message gets the most attention from you? The voice of the world or the voice of God who wishes to speak his word of love and truth with you each and every day?
