The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the death of 21-year-old Micheal Arigbabuwo who lost his life at a birthday party after allegedly mixing two hard drugs for maximum effect.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos State, disclosed this in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle.

Hundeyin who confirmed the arrest of three of the victim’s friends said the incident happened on Friday in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

He said information received by the police in Ikorodu revealed that at about 7.30pm on Friday, a distress call came that some group of Yahoo Yahoo boys brought a corpse to Igbogbo area of Ikorodu.

“Based on the information, teams of detectives visited and photographed the scene. Three young men of ages 23 and 24 were arrested.

“The suspects claimed that the deceased allegedly smoked loud and drank codeine at a birthday party of one of their friends held at Igbogbo area of Ikorodu.

“The suspects further claimed that the deceased began gasping for breath. He was rushed to the hospital but died,” he said.

Hundeyin added that the corpse was evacuated and deposited at the General Hospital, Ikorodu, for autopsy.

He, therefore, warned youths against drug abuse, stressing that drugs will end their lives in disaster.

This is so disheartening. The youths should refrain from bad life. Let us know which of our problems are caused by the government.

But the bigger problem with this post is the deceased is not an Igbo and his friends' names are not mentioned. How can haters of Igbo who always look for an opportunity to exhibit their hate use this post to condemn Igbo now?

Until human beings surrender to the highest form of guidance and consciousness and allow the maker of the earth rule His creation, humanity will become subject to the shackles of evil desires and inclinations.

That's the mistake of the fashioners of this civilization. They did away with the divine and disregarded the sacred law. Ever since then, it has been calamity upon calamity for the planet. Youths are not conscious enough to realize their true purpose on earth. Hence, many have resorted to things that will damage their souls and drain their lives of virtue and sweetness.

But it's alright, for a New Era is near. The great emperor and saviour of the earth, "The Unity" will soon emerge and he will show the world the right path in life. The youths will be energized and educated, the planet will be saved, humanity will be liberated - all in his New Era (God willing).

We await his coming.
