Recently, APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu tweeted via his official twitter handle,
“ Earlier today at a lively, productive and
amiable meeting with a delegation
representing the Pentecostal Bishops
Forum of Northern Nigeria, we
discussed important issues of national
significance as well as my
determination to deliver unity, harmony
and lasting peace to Nigeria.”

Alongside the tweet were pictures of religious leaders dressed in Bishop regalia. Few hours later, PFN released a statement disowning the organization, Pentecostal Bishop Forum of Northern Nigeria. Saying such organization is not known to PFN.

Does the Pentecostal Bishops Forum of Northern Nigeria need approval of PFN to be considered a legitimate organization?
Since when did PFN become a regulating agency for religious organizations in Nigeria?

Let’s try to be rationale in our thinking and avoid bringing the Body of Christ to ridicule because of crumbs. Personally, I may or may not vote BAT, but that should not make me an agent of propaganda. And it’s sickening when it comes from a respected body like PFN.
