Back in 2018, a friend of a friend had nearly killed herself when she found out she had been banned from entering Canada due to a common inadmissibility issue called "Misrepresentation".

What is Misrepresentation?

When you provide false information and Canada finds out, it is interpreted as if you are intentionally trying to confuse the immigration officer. often times people use agents who filled application forms for them with various information the client may not about.

This information are kept in the immigration record and if the applicant comes back and provides a different info, he or she is most likely to be banned for a minimum of 5 years.

This post deserves more attention since a large majority of visa applicants will receive denials for this same reason, whether they know it or not.
