As we aspire to move Nigeria towards a Unitary Confederation, the Igbo Province of Nigeria (the Confederate States of AlaIgbo) understand the basics of humble beginnings.

Igboland is also a land of vast wealth and resources however the over dependence of the Nigerian State on hydrocarbons products mainly oil and gas is neither the best for the people nor is it environmentally friendly when climate concern has become very real.

The Igbo Nation has always been a pace setter and as we wish for the autonomy of every people of the commonwealth of Nigeria we have to lead the way.

In regards to building a National economy, the premier of the Igbo province of Nigeria among other things have set up https://www.ikengastore.com as a potential export and distribution channel for Igbo province.

The government of Igbo province is going to run chiefly as a Capitalist Economy as such the Ikenga Store is set up under the private provincial partnership of the Premier of the Igbo Province of Nigeria (Premier Ogechukwu).

It is also in a bid to strengthen the indigenous people that a less costly yet more effective restructuring of Nigeria is possible however it has to take efforts and common will of the people. People agitate for resource control which is great but the biggest of all resources is not controlled by the state but by the individuals, the biggest resources of every nation is it's people.

We need to learn how to reform and utilize our human resources, I strongly believe that once we begin to explore our human resources as national people we can achieve immense success.

As for natural resources which have formed the basis of most agitations. I had always liked using our esteemed neighbours in Benin and Igala as example, because these two nations have very deep history with the Igbo Nation, I always asked my audience, when Benin built the wall did they use revenue from crude oil, when Benin built the ancient Benin kingdom, did they use revenue from gas, same is applicable to the Igala, the Igbo Kingdoms of Onitsha, Nri, Aro Confederacy etc. All thrived without oil and gas and we can do it again.

The Ikenga Store is set up to distribute products of AlaIgbo within Nigeria and also export globally such will earn us forex and enable the store to pay tax to the government of Igbo Province of Nigeria and also pay tax to the central government of Nigeria.

Such store will create jobs, better living standards and contribute to the economy of AlaIgbo and Nigeria; in the first Republic, Regional enterprises was booming, there were regional hotels, cement and even car factories, even the Coacoa house was built from the Coacoa proceed of the then Western Region, the Igbo Province of Nigeria shall for now adopt the templates of the old Eastern Region while also paying crucial attention to education and welfare of the citizens.

Nigerian restructuring is going to be natural, each tribal people should attend to the needs of their people while the central government should attend to security, international relationship, single service system and crucial laws.

I also strongly believe that through the intervention of the houses and general conscience. The National electricity grid would be decentralized and certified for regional and private participation, once that happens, the government of Igbo province shall also look into electricity generation to ensure stable electricity in AlaIgbo and also generate more than enough so that we can sell to our neighbours and friends in the commonwealth of Nigeria.

The Igbo Nation is a people known globally as a business, technology and industry oriented people, as such the very crucial focus of the Igbo province of Nigeria shall be in the support of our businesses, technology and industry.

The Igbo Nation would in due time support agricultural development in our allied territories in the North and west, as we believe that booming agriculture would ensure enough raw materials for the industries that we aspire to build in AlaIgbo, with time we would also look into how we can support the security architecture of the country and specifically those of AlaIgbo. It is a little step and we hope it is in the right direction.
