Guys try these :

In fact reviving dead laptop battery is simple work. You can use some physical methods to activation the dead battery cells. Usually you can revive dead laptop battery using familiar tools. You only need a refrigeratory, a locked bag, a charger. Then do the following works step by step. You shall revive your dead laptop battery.

First put the dead laptop battery in a zip lock.

Then put the zip into refrigeratory and keep it in freezer for 14 - 15 hours.

After waiting for a long time, take the dead laptop battery out of refrigeratory .

Using clean and soft cloth to dry the battery and get the battery to room temperature (about 20° - 25°)

In the end fully charging and discharging the battery for 3 - 4 cycles.

Most countries now penalize people who are caught driving as well as using a cell phone unless it is hands-free. So you can either cease using your mobile phone or to get a device that allows you to talk while driving. The options are earphones and a mic as a wired headset or a wireless Creative Lifestyle. But most people prefer the convenience of using wireless Bluetooth headsets that have a small earpiece with a voice transmitter attached, rather than the usual wired earphones. The wireless Creative Lifestyle can give you the advantage of working or going about without your phone for even as far as 30 feet and yet being connected. Being a wireless device, there is no issue of tangled up wire or a constant pulling against your shirt. You would be comfortable if you choose your wireless Creative Lifestyle correctly. Have lightweight wireless Bluetooth headsets that you can securely attach to your ear or head.

Right there. How do you fully charge and discharge a dead battery for 3 - 4 cycles? This is just some approach and mind you, there are different battery types and doing this on a dry cell is completely pointless (if I remember correctly).

Re: I Revive Dead Laptop Batteries by ebatterycomau(m): 8:35am On Jul 18, 2012
One of the worst things that can happen while working on a laptop is to have your laptop battery die mid-project. To avoid this, it's good to know how much life your battery has left in it. Most laptop computers offer a couple of ways to do this, and there are several free downloads that will put a large laptop battery life monitor on your screen, meaning you'll never be caught with a dead battery unexpectedly again.

1. Look in your computer's system tray, which is in the far bottom right-hand corner of your screen, where the clock is. You should see a battery icon. If it doesn't show up automatically, click the arrows on the left-hand side of the system tray, which will expand the tray and show all icons.

2. Place your mouse over the battery icon, but don't click. The icon itself will show roughly how much life is in the notebook battery (half full, three-quarters full), but hovering your mouse over it will pop up a label showing exactly how much life remains in your battery.

3. Go to the Control Panel if there is no icon in the system tray, or you want more detailed information on the laptop computer battery. Click "Power Options" and then the "Power Meter" tab.

4. Click the battery icon for detailed information on the battery. The "Power Meter" tab will show the same information as the system tray icon; the detailed information tells you what kind of battery it is, as well as whether it is currently charging (plugged in) or discharging.
