o A Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electrical / Electronics Engineering, with 1-2 years’ experience;
o Training in servicing and maintenance of Ophthalmic and surgical equipment.
o Training and certification by a major medical equipment manufacturer will be an added advantage.

Is it not still the same thing as learning a trade by serving someone before you can now be settled and start doing your own business?

Why will someone spend 5yrs in School and you will still see an advert with all this bogus requirements attached to it.

Is it that the school is not enough? What's the need then for practicals and sometimes I.T ( Field work) if such requirement will still be needed?

If they would still require such an experience then the number of years spent in school is not necessary. Life is too short mhen.

I'm just thinking aloud.
