Hi everyone. I am new to fish farming and I wanted to start with 6000 catfish. The expert I employ gave me the following feeding program for 6000 fishes to achieve 800g to 1kg at the end of 4 months period. 1st month 1mm 6bags 2nd month 2mm 20 bags 3rd month 3mm 30 bags 4th month 4mm 30 bags I am afraid this feeding formula might not achieve the target weight of 800g -1kg within the four months period based on what I have read online and on YouTube videos. But the expert have repeatedly assured me the feeds will be okay. He told me he has rear catfish from hatching to table size using similar feeding program. Please I need advice on this as I am seriously confused whether to go ahead. I don't want to run into losses. Notes : The expert want to stock the ponds with 10-15g Juvenile to kick off the project. |
