PDP PRAISES JUDICIARY, SAYS BABAYEMI STANDS EXPELLED FROM PDP

Osun state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has praised the judiciary for living up to its expectation as the house of justice even as the party emphatically reaffirmed that Prince Dotun Babayemi stand expelled from the PDP.

The Supreme Court has affirmed the nomination of as PDP candidate during Osun 2022 governorship election. Supreme Court in a ruling on Thursday dismissed case filed by Dotun Babayemi, affirming that Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke was validly elected at PDP primary election.

In a victory statement signed by its State Caretaker Chairman, Dr Adekunle Akindele, the party recalled its earlier statement that the Nigerian judiciary is a newly remodelled one which is addicted to due process in compliance with the law and its precedents, urging party supporters to remain calm.

The party Chairman who described today as another landmark for Osun people commended the lord justices of the Supreme Court repeated that the court is no longer a ground for frivolity and diversionary cases, hailing the apex court for reinforcing the integrity of the court.

While congratulating the Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, the party noted without equivocation that Prince Babayemi had since ceased to be a member of the PDP and warned against any accommodation of the expelled politician in PDP matters.

"As we are rejoicing , we must note very strongly that a mole among us who was an active agent of the APC had since lost his membership of PDP. No organ or affiliates of the party should accommodate him or his agenda again within this party.

"Any member of the party who continues to romance the expelled member risks being charged with anti-party activities and may face appropriate sanction. We must get rid of fifth columnists by descending heavily on them. We must uproot them and cut down their branches", the party Chairman stated.

"We once again congratulate loyal party members and the good people of Osun state that light they voted for has again prevailed. We should all be rest assured that similar victory await us at the Tribunal", the statement concluded.

SUPREME COURT RULING: ADEMOLA ADELEKE COMMENDS APEX COURT , DEDICATES VICTORY TO GOD

Osun state Governor-elect , Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke today embarked on marathon praise songs after his victory at the Supreme Court over Prince Dotun Babayemi, a decisive judicial victory he dedicated to God and the good people of Osun state.

Amidst shout of thanks to almighty God from top leaders and family members, the Governor-Elect described the outcome of the case as the manifestation of the strong hand of God in his governorship project, declaring that he with the armour of God is in victory by divine will.

Sen Adeleke who described the lord judges as agents of truth and justice said his faith in the judiciary has always been strong despite the 2018 incident just as he acknowledged the newly rebranded judiciary as an harbinger of fairness and equity.

The Governor-elect who further appreciated his many supporters within and outside the country said he dedicated the victory to God and the people of Osun state whose tremendous support has kept him going since the departure of his late brother.

" As I noted in my statement yesterday, this project is divine and is here to stay. Our people voted for light and we must all defend and sustain that mandate built on our five point agenda for good governance", Senator Adeleke noted.

He called on Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to start compilation of his handing over notes, declaring " the people's mandate remains sacrosanct"

Congratulations to ademola Adeleke once again

The only achievement made by Dotun Babayemi in his case against PDP and Senator Ademola Adeleke is that, Babayemi has succeeded in making his name to be mentioned or to be a reference point in our Jurisprudence to buttress the case of Aspirant who filed an Appeal out of time, an Aspirant who staged Parallel Gubernatorial Primaries Election without the knowledge of NWC of political party and INEC and an Aspirant who predictated his case on alleged disobedience to court Judgement or Orders which is not envisage by section 84 (14) of Electoral Act of 2022.

The Lawyers in Law Court will henceforth be saying, "My Lord, see the case of Dotun Babayemi Vs Senator Ademola Adeleke & others (2022)" . Kikikikiki kakakaka
