Pay: N250, 000 – N300, 000


Job Description

- Report to and work closely with the Board of Directors to seek their involvement in policy decisions, and fundraising and to increase the overall visibility of the organization.
- Prepare accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate fundraising results, variances, and performance trends.
- Provide leadership to and manage the efforts of site staff to ensure appropriate support of all departments
- Strategic planning and implementation by ensuring that services and funding relationships are robust enough to meet or exceed strategic goals and objectives
- Serve as the organization's primary spokesperson to the organization’s constituents, the media and the general public.
- Coordinate and leads annual budget reviews, monthly and quarterly reviews, and periodic forecast updates with operational and senior management for all locations
- Establish and maintain relationships with various organizations and utilize those relationships to strategically enhance the Client’s Mission.
- Engage in fundraising and developing other revenues.
- Oversee marketing and other communications efforts.
- Oversee organization Board and committee meetings.
- Establishing employment and administrative policies and procedures for all functions and for the day-to-day operation of the nonprofit.
- Review and approve contracts for services.
- Other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.

Requirements

- Graduate with a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree as an advantage
- Possess 3 -5 years of experience in the nonprofit sector.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Implement strategic plans and policies set by the Board of Trustees.
- Ensure a timely discharge of all directives and due compliance with all the policies laid down.
- Manage daily activities of the organization including reporting linkages.
- Identify fundraising strategies that are beneficial and complementary to the organization's vision and mission.
- Coordinate fundraising activities, project implementation, community mobilization and outreach.
- Ensure that other project team members are coordinated through the program manager and that the implementation processes are on track.
- Facilitate harmonious relationships between Board, Staff, volunteers, donors and beneficiaries in communities through effective information/ communication flow.
