IMO STATE GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

ALL Imo State stakeholders, including government functionaries, service commanders ,religious and traditional Rulers and heads of educational institutions, civil society organisations and the organised labour are cordially invited to join His Excellency, the Governor of Imo State, Sen Hope Uzodimma to celebrate the 62nd Independence Anniversary of Nigeria which holds on Saturday, October 1st , 2022 at Ndubisi Kanu Square, new Owerri.

All are to be seated at the venue by 9am, before the arrival of His Excellency by 10 am

As part of the anniversary celebrations, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, will on Saturday 1st October, deliver a statewide broadcast to Imo people by 8am, before proceeding to the venue of the ceremony.

On arrival at the venue His Excellency will inspect the parade mounted by the military and paramilitary organizations after which he will make brief remarks before cutting the anniversary cake.

There will also be state banquet immediately after the field events at the banquet Hall government house Owerri .

Please note that all invited guests are also to be seated before the arrival of His Excellency for the state banquet.
