There are many benefits that come from goal setting. Goal-setting people tend to have more initiative, self-esteem, independence, and self-confidence. Having goals is important because it gives us something to aim for and strive for. Good goals also incorporate our values and allow us to challenge ourselves to maintain them. Setting goals in this area is especially important when it comes to mental health. We all want to achieve better mental health.
