As Nigeria celebrated her 62nd Independence Anniversary, the unity of Nigeria and how to address the myriad of challenges facing the country have been brought to the fore.

Leading presidential candidates on Saturday at different fora reiterated the need to fix the country.


The trio of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All-Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party made this known in separate statements.

According to Obi, many Nigerians are frustrated and tired of the many years of leadership failure.
