Okay... Two simple reasons: One, Tinubu is an Oodua project and most Yoruba elders has more connection with Oodua than to Nigeria. And since Tinubu does not believe in one Nigeria, they hope that he would grant them Oodua nation. Two, since they have a high tendency for stealing and lying, they find solace in Tinubu's camp. PoliteActivist: Afenifere is a Pro-Yoruba group that seeks to foster the interest of the good people of Yoruba, that is why they believe that by supporting equity, they stand to bring in Obi whose government would be favourable to all, including Omoluabis.
