Minister of Labour and Employment and Director of Public Affairs and Chief Spokesperson Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo (SAN) on Tuesday denied reports of a crisis in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the flag-off of its campaign for the 2023 general elections.

Speaking with DAILY INDEPENDENT, Keyamo said reports that the APC presidential campaign list is being delayed because some stakeholders in the party are moving for the replacement of the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu is false.

According to him, while the APC is united and is poised for victory in the 2023 elections, the opposition whose party is plagued by crisis is sponsoring fake news about the division in the ruling party.

There is nothing of such. We are a united party. There is no plan to remove the national chairman and the NWC is behind him in the quest to secure victory for our party.

“The opposition is in disarray and they are conjuring all these fake stories up that the APC is in crisis. There is nothing of such. We are united and marching to victory,” he said.

Truth is; Tinubu can never win next year's election. He will only come third. A lot of APC members are not in support of his candidacy but they can't do anything about it.

Also, most South West Christians are agaisnt his M/M candidacy and the majority of Nigerians are disappointed in the party APC. So block votes for him in the south west or any region is not guaranteed as he's already sharing Lagos with Obi.

Meanwhile, some Northern members of the APC will work in favour of Kwankwaso and Atiku.

Obi has already conquered the South East, South South and will have reasonable amount of votes from other regions.

This coming election is not about ethnicity or religion but about saving this country. Our debt profile is scary, our economy dwindling. Obi is the best man for the job.

We need to redirect this country as APC under Buhari dey carry us go where we no know cheesy

My greatest disappointment is when I see able bodied men and women in their 20's and 30's showing support for a sick old man to rule them. And I ask myself if these people actually read. How old was Gowon and Ojukwu when they led this country?

Lets keep our ethnic and religious differences aside and save this country.
