Certain ps3 games online fail when I attempt to play them. I have good broadband service. I turn my router firewall off and leave all my ports open so I don't have to worry about port forwarding. The only difference that may be uncommon is that my router runs on a private lan by default. Its the way my isp set it up from the start.
