JUBILATION IN ABIA AS ABIA MEASIAH, KALU IJOMA OF NRM MAKES INEC FINAL GUBER LIST


The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Abia state has released the final list of governorship candidates for the 2023 election in the state.

The release of this list on Tuesday sparked off a wide jubilation in Umauhia, Aba, Ohafia, Isuikwuato, Omoba, Obehie and the entire Abia state over the inclusion of the National Rescue Movement governorship Candidate, Kalu Ijoma, who has been nicknamed ABIA MESSAIH.

Men, women, youths and children took to the streets to celebrate Kalu Ijoma. There was rumors making rounds that those who have kept Abia in bondage over the years will frustrate the
NRM Governorship candidate's name from making INEC final list because of his overwhelming influence on other candidates.


As Nigerians are bent on ensuring Justice, equity and fair play in Nigeria by supporting the Southeast to produce the next Nigerian President in 2023, all Abians home and abroad have thrown their weight behind Kalu Ijoma who is from Abia North. The zoning formula in Abia since 1999 has been within the 3 senatorial districts in Abia, which started from Abia North in 1999 and went to Abia central in 2007 and completed with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu from Abia South whose tenure will end in 2023. To maintain peace and unity in Abia state, stakeholders have maintained that power goes back to Abia North where it started.

Speaking to TBE Magazine correspondents in Abia state, Chief Innocent Nwachukwu, Mrs Oluchukwu Ofoma, and Ibezim Alozie KK from Isialangwa North, Isuikwuato and Obehie respectively noted that it is the turn of Abia North to produce the next governor which can only be achieved through Kalu Ijoma of National Rescue Movement (NRM)

The list released on tuesday had names of NRM's Candidate Kalu Ijoma, Uche Ikonne, Gregory Ibeh, Alex Otti, and Nwafor, amongst others.

The final list precedes the commencement of the governorship campaigns slated for October 12th 2022, according to INEC timetable.
