Very nice, the state police, must take security seriously, especially check against illegal immigrants and aliens, and having a data bank is good. Everyone should be identifiable, living in a premises, mapped, people should not be allowed to stay in bushes,. forests and ungoverned teritories. The Nigerian state must take hold and claim of every inch of our territory. Build military camps and barracks, buy farm equipments, so some of these soldiers work as specialized farmers. In other progressing nations, police and army helps in technology, crisis management and rehabilitation in terms of disaster, food and agriculture etc. The army has sufficient manpower that stays idle most of the time, they can be engaged productively. Since bokoharam and Iswap are disturbing farmers, train army farmers. Our biggest threats are terrorist threats and that of violent insurgents in different forms, coloration and shape. We know who a terrorist is, a terrorist is one who kills, oppress and destroy livelihoods of the citizens and people of a nation, terrorists are enemies of the state, that must be destroyed. God willing.

Shouldn't you ensure you have 24 hours of electricity before you go down that path? How do you plan on running a "smart city" when you have several power cuts every day?

Deal with the basics first.

Zombie. They will ascribe anything good in Lagos to Tinubu, someone that left office since 2007. Is it that Fashola, Ambode and currently, San-owolu didn't do anything in Lagos? Or Tinubu is still lagos governor while others have just been figure head.

When it comes to the bad roads, flood, agberos and other bad things in Lagos, you all call out Fashola, Ambode, San-owolu. But any good thing in lagos, na Tinubu. Clowns!

PS: I'm not igbo.

Nigerians don't have time all this tribal politics, all we are saying is we need a better government in the person of OBI.

But Anambra was not better off when he was the governor. He’s got nothing to offer.

Tinubu has stolen Lagos State money to the extent that the state is just having a data bank that Anambra had since 1960
Your Anambra with Data Bank since 1960 is where your Obi had 8 years as a governor but can not live there but instead ran to live in Lagos after his governorship term, shame on you.

very good point

simplesearch:
You need to have a working city first before talking of smart city. Even a seamless transportation system is a rocket science in a supposedly metropolitan city that generates billions in IGR. Aren't basic social amenities suppose to be in place like, good road, good water system, stable power supply and access to affordable health care facility. You don't build on nothing, people and companies are paying huge task and basic things should be properly put in place. A working city is surely better than a smart city
