'Mundo Deportivo' says that he could arrive at the Camp Nou earlier than expected. And the thing is, according to this source, Barca are considering making an offer to the Basques for him as soon as the January window opens.

The large number of injuries in defence has made Xavi think that he might need another option. Therefore, the club have thought about Inigo Martinez.

The central defender's contract at Athletic expires in 2023. As a result, he would leave on a free ahead of next season.
